Does anyone know if velanna is returning to dragon age 2?

She is my favorite character in the game since awakening she is a hot head like morrigan XD I had a great friendship with her in the game with my character who is a female noble warden queen commander when I finished awakening I became concerned that she vanished to to the deep roads to look for her sister sernnai who became affected by the darkspawn corruption the other wardens of the order looked for her but she vanished and was never heard again did she go further into the deep roads the story doesnt know what became of her she might have died in the roads looking for her sister or is still alive somewhere in the roads I am so wondering on what became of her does anyone know if she is returning to dragon age 2 I need to know.
